Mindful crafting on the first Monday of the month at cafe Dales, Narborough, 7-9pm.
Each month we will try a different craft, some workshops include a kit to carry on the crafting at home. Hot and Cold drinks as well as cakes are available to purchase. On the odd occasion staff may not be available alternative refreshments will be available free of charge.
Monday 5th January -
In this session you will learn the Japanese handicraft of Kinusaiga. This is a type of textile collaging made by pressing fabric pieces into a foam board. It's a unique textile art that resembles stained glass. Your finished artwork can be displayed as you would a canvas painting. A few designs will be available to choose from or feel free to create your own.
Your finished Kinusaiga will measure 30cm x 20cm x 2cm (aprox A4)
All materials will be provided.
