Sashiko Purse - Make Monday Mindful - Cafe Dales - July
Mindful crafting on the first Monday of the month at cafe Dales, Narborough, 7-9pm.
Each month we will try a different craft, some workshops include a kit to carry on the crafting at home. Hot and Cold drinks as well as cakes are available to purchase. On the odd occasion staff may not be available alternative refreshments will be available free of charge.
Monday 6th July -
In this session you will learn how to sew sashiko style using the running stitch and on denim/canvas. This can then be transformed in to a purse using blanket stitch or wip stitch, framed as a piece of textile art or used as a patch on clothing.
All materials will be provided. Including template, needle, thread and chalk pencil to take home.
Parking at weavers court is free after 6pm and is only a short walk from Cafe Dales
