Tourmaline
Named after “turamali” a term originally applied to gems of mixed colours by the jewellers of Ceylon. Ancient Egyptians believed that the many colours in this gemstone are due to the tourmaline travelling along a rainbow on its journey from the middle of the earth up toward the sun. Known as the Rainbow stone it’s multicoloured crystals are believed to bring the mind, body and spirit together.
Said to aid in understanding oneself and others, while promoting self-confidence and diminishing fear. Thought to attract inspiration, compassion, tolerance and prosperity. It balances male-female energy within the body and the left and right sides of the brain, enhancing energy and releasing tension.
SIZING
These gorgeous earrings are 15mm hoops and the Amethyst beads are 4mm making the full drop 17mm.
